fleshly
Of the body
Fleshly means of or relating to the body and its physical desires, especially as opposed to the spirit or soul.
The word carries connotations of sensuality or carnality: fleshly pleasures, fleshly temptations.
It appears most often in religious or moralizing contexts where bodily appetites are viewed with suspicion.
Not to be confused with fleshy, which simply means having substantial flesh or being plump.
