capture cards
Video recording devices
A capture card is a device that records or streams video from an external source—typically a gaming console, camera, or second computer—by converting the signal for processing.
Gamers use capture cards to record gameplay or broadcast live streams: I need a capture card to stream my PlayStation on Twitch.
Most connect via USB or install as internal PC components.
