bullmastiffs

Muscular guardian canines

Bullmastiffs is the plural of bullmastiff, a large, muscular breed of dog developed in 19th-century England by crossing bulldogs with mastiffs.

Gamekeepers bred them to guard estates and apprehend poachers without mauling them.

They have a broad head, short muzzle, and typically fawn or brindle coat.

Despite their imposing size, bullmastiffs are known for calm, loyal temperaments: Our bullmastiffs are gentle with the kids but intimidating to strangers.
