broads
Gals, somewhat rudely
Broads is the plural of broad, which as a noun is dated slang for a woman.
The term was common in mid-twentieth-century American speech, especially among men: a couple of broads at the bar.
It now sounds old-fashioned or deliberately retro, and can be offensive depending on context. (Capitalized Broads refers to the Norfolk Broads.)
