branch campus
Distant educational outpost
A branch campus is a satellite location of a college or university, physically separate from the main campus but operating under the same institution.
Branch campuses offer courses and degrees locally, serving students who can't or prefer not to travel to the primary location: She earned her degree at the state university's branch campus in her hometown.
They typically have smaller enrollments and fewer programs than the main campus.
