brake assist
Automatic pressure boost
Brake assist is a vehicle safety system that detects emergency braking—when a driver presses the brake pedal quickly but not forcefully enough—and automatically applies maximum braking pressure.
The system helps drivers who hesitate or lack the strength to brake hard enough in a panic stop.
Also called emergency brake assist or BA.
