blind spot detection
Side-mirror sensor system
Blind spot detection is a vehicle safety system that monitors areas alongside and behind a car that the driver can't easily see.
When another vehicle enters these zones, sensors trigger visual or audible alerts—typically a warning light in the side mirror: The blind spot detection light came on as a motorcycle approached on my left.
