bottlenose
Flippered marine mammal
Bottlenose refers to a nose or snout shaped like the neck of a bottle—rounded and projecting.
The word appears almost exclusively in bottlenose dolphin, the familiar gray dolphin with an elongated snout, common in aquariums and coastal waters worldwide.
Bottlenose whales have a similar protruding beak.
