bloodlessness
Lacking vital fluid
Bloodlessness is the state or quality of being without blood, either literally or figuratively.
In its concrete sense, it describes pallor or the absence of blood from tissue, as in a corpse or someone who has gone pale.
More often it characterizes something lacking vigor, passion, or human warmth: The bloodlessness of the committee's report disappointed activists hoping for bold recommendations.
A bloodless coup or victory achieves its aim without violence or casualties.
