blind pass
No-look assist
A blind pass is a pass made without looking at the intended recipient, relying on anticipation of where a teammate will be.
Common in basketball and hockey, it requires trust and coordination: He threw a blind pass over his shoulder and somehow found the open man.
The risk of turnover makes it flashy when it works.
