bleeper

Censor's sound tool

A bleeper is a small electronic device that emits a beeping sound to alert its carrier—another name for a pager or beeper: The doctor's bleeper went off during dinner.

In British usage especially, bleeper also refers to the electronic tone used to censor profanity in broadcasts: They had to use the bleeper three times during his interview.
