bleep test
Progressive aerobic test
The bleep test is a fitness assessment measuring aerobic capacity, in which participants run back and forth between two points, keeping pace with recorded beeps that grow progressively faster until they can no longer keep up.
Also called the beep test or shuttle run test.
Common in schools and athletic training: I dreaded the bleep test in PE class.
