barrel rolling
Rotating along axis
Barrel rolling is performing a barrel roll—a maneuver where an aircraft or vehicle rotates 360 degrees around its longitudinal axis while maintaining its general direction of travel.
The term appears in aviation, video games, and internet culture, where Do a barrel roll! became a meme from the game Star Fox 64.
Someone barrel rolling through life might be navigating chaos with unexpected grace—or just spinning out of control: She came barrel rolling into the meeting five minutes late.
