level flight
No altitude change
Level flight is flight in which an aircraft maintains constant altitude, neither climbing nor descending.
The term appears in aviation contexts discussing aircraft performance, fuel efficiency, or pilot training: The plane leveled off at cruising altitude and settled into level flight.
Straight and level flight adds the requirement of no turning.
