baiters
Those who provoke
Baiters are people who bait—who provoke, harass, or lure others into conflict.
The term usually appears with a modifier indicating the target: race baiters, troll baiters, master baiters.
Online, baiters deliberately provoke emotional reactions for entertainment or to expose someone's true views.
The word carries negative connotations, implying manipulation or bad faith.
