audio description

Verbal image track

Audio description is narration added to visual media—films, television, theater—that describes what's happening on screen for blind or visually impaired audiences.

During gaps in dialogue, a narrator describes actions, settings, facial expressions, and other visual elements: The audio description version is available on the second audio track.

Also called descriptive video or video description.
