Overhead storage access
An attic hatch is a small door or panel in a ceiling that provides access to the attic space above.
Usually rectangular and hinged or removable, it may include a pull-down ladder or stairs: I climbed through the attic hatch to check the insulation.
Also called an attic access panel or scuttle hole.
