assisted living
Seniors' supportive residence
Assisted living is a type of housing for elderly or disabled people who need help with daily activities but not constant medical care.
Residents typically have private apartments while staff provide meals, housekeeping, medication management, and personal care.
It occupies a middle ground between independent living and nursing homes: My mother moved to assisted living after her stroke.
Also called assisted-living facility.
