aspen grove
Trembling tree cluster
An aspen grove is a stand of aspen trees, often sharing a single root system that makes the entire grove technically one organism.
The trees' pale bark and trembling leaves create a distinctive landscape, especially in autumn when the foliage turns golden: We hiked through an aspen grove in the Rockies.
