antibiotic cream
Topical germ killer
Antibiotic cream is a topical medication containing bacteria-killing agents, applied to minor cuts, scrapes, and burns to prevent infection: Put some antibiotic cream on that and cover it with a bandage.
Common over-the-counter versions contain bacitracin or neomycin.
The cream creates a barrier while delivering medication directly to the wound site.
