anti-red
Opposing the Soviets
Anti-red describes opposition to red things, most often communism or communist movements.
During the Cold War, anti-red sentiment drove American foreign policy and domestic investigations: The anti-red crusade ruined careers in Hollywood.
In color theory or design, anti-red simply means colors that contrast with or neutralize red.
