anniversary edition
Special birthday version
An anniversary edition is a special release of a book, album, film, or other product commemorating a milestone year since its original publication—typically 10, 25, or 50 years.
These editions often include bonus content, updated packaging, or restored materials: The 25th anniversary edition includes previously unreleased demos.
The label signals both celebration and marketing appeal to collectors and nostalgic fans.
