all-nighters
Dusk-to-dawn studying
All-nighters are sessions of working or studying through the entire night without sleep.
The term is especially common among students cramming for exams: I pulled three all-nighters in a row during finals week.
The singular form describes a single instance: an all-nighter to finish the project.
