Plane-to-terminal tunnel
An aerobridge is an enclosed, movable walkway connecting an airport terminal directly to an aircraft door, allowing passengers to board and disembark without going outside: We walked through the aerobridge onto the plane.
Also called a jet bridge or jetway.
The term is more common in British English and international aviation contexts.
