airstairs
Tarmac boarding stairs
Airstairs are a set of steps built into or attached to an aircraft, allowing passengers and crew to board or exit without an external stairway or jet bridge.
They fold out from the fuselage, typically at the front or rear door: The president descended the airstairs to greet the crowd on the tarmac.
