Metroid Prime

Samus's GameCube adventure

Metroid Prime is a 2002 video game for the Nintendo GameCube, the first 3D entry in the Metroid series.

The title also refers to the game's final boss—a parasitic creature corrupted by the radioactive substance Phazon.

The game established the "Prime" subseries and is widely considered one of the greatest games ever made: I finally beat Metroid Prime after all these years.
