USB 2.0
Older transfer standard
USB 2.0 is a version of the Universal Serial Bus standard for connecting devices to computers, introduced in 2000.
It transfers data at up to 480 megabits per second—forty times faster than its predecessor but far slower than later versions.
Most USB 2.0 ports and cables remain compatible with newer devices, though at reduced speeds: This old hub is only USB 2.0.
