Troubadour
Wandering love poet
A troubadour was a medieval poet-musician from southern France who composed and performed songs, typically about courtly love and chivalry.
The term now applies more loosely to any wandering singer or musician: a folk troubadour, the troubadours of the 1960s coffeehouse scene.
It suggests someone romantic, itinerant, and devoted to their craft.
