Titanosaurus

Massive long-necked reptile

Titanosaurus is a genus of large herbivorous dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period, among the last of the sauropods before the mass extinction.

The name, meaning "titanic lizard," reflects its massive size—these long-necked quadrupeds could reach lengths of 40 feet or more.

The genus gives its name to the broader group Titanosauria, which includes some of the largest land animals ever to exist.
