Tinkerbell

Glowing fairy companion

Tinker Bell is the fairy companion of Peter Pan in J.M.

Barrie's play and novel, depicted as a tiny, jealous sprite who communicates through bell-like sounds.

She has become an iconic Disney character, appearing as a blonde pixie in a green dress who spreads pixie dust.

The name is sometimes used to describe someone diminutive and magical, or dismissively for ideas deemed too whimsical: Your Tinkerbell solution won't work in the real world.
