Puck

Oberon's impish servant

Puck is a mischievous sprite from English folklore, also called Robin Goodfellow—a trickster who delights in pranks and leading travelers astray.

Shakespeare made him famous as the impish fairy in *A Midsummer Night's Dream* who mistakenly applies a love potion and declares Lord, what fools these mortals be!

The name has become shorthand for any playful troublemaker. (Lowercase puck is the hockey disk.)
