Tenacious D
Comedic rock duo
Tenacious D is an American comedy rock duo formed by actors Jack Black and Kyle Gass, known for acoustic guitar-driven songs that satirize heavy metal grandiosity while celebrating it.
Their humor blends profanity, exaggerated bravado, and absurdist narratives about rock supremacy.
The name plays on *tenacious*, suggesting fierce determination—here applied to their mock-heroic pursuit of rock greatness.
