comedic skits
Short humorous performances
Comedic skits are short humorous performances, typically scripted scenes performed by a small cast.
The format dominates sketch comedy shows and variety entertainment: Saturday Night Live is famous for its comedic skits.
The phrase is somewhat redundant, since skits are usually comedic by nature, but it emphasizes the humorous intent.
