Super Mario Bros.

Super Mario Bros. is a 1985 video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System that established the platforming genre and made Mario the company's signature character.

The player guides Mario (or Luigi) through side-scrolling levels, jumping on enemies and collecting power-ups to rescue Princess Peach.

The game's commercial success helped revive the video game industry after its early-1980s crash and spawned one of gaming's most enduring franchises: I grew up playing Super Mario Bros.
