Shy Guy
Robed masked enemy
Shy Guy is a masked enemy character in Nintendo's Mario video game series, recognizable by its robe and blank white mask with simple eye holes.
The creatures appear in various colors and have spawned numerous variants across games.
The name plays on the character's concealed face—as if too shy to show itself.
Outside gaming, shy guy is occasionally used for a timid or socially awkward person.
