Thick weekend paper
The Sunday edition is a newspaper's weekend issue, typically the largest and most comprehensive of the week.
Sunday editions often include special sections—magazine supplements, comics, advertising circulars, and feature content not found in daily papers: I only get the Sunday edition for the coupons.
The term extends to Sunday versions of television news programs.
