Streisand

Streisand most often appears in Streisand effect, describing the phenomenon where attempting to suppress information inadvertently amplifies its spread.

The term comes from Barbra Streisand's 2003 lawsuit to remove aerial photographs of her Malibu home, which drew far more attention to the images than they would otherwise have received.

Their takedown notice triggered a classic Streisand effect.
