Enya
Ethereal Irish vocalist
Enya is an Irish singer and musician known for layered vocals, synthesizers, and Celtic-influenced new age music.
Her ethereal, dreamlike sound became synonymous with relaxation and contemplation in the 1980s and 1990s: The spa playlist was pure Enya.
Her name often evokes a particular mood—serene, mystical, perhaps slightly cheesy: It's very Enya in here.
