Shiba Inu is a small to medium-sized Japanese dog breed with a fox-like face, erect ears, and a curled tail.
Originally bred for hunting in mountainous terrain, Shibas are now popular companion dogs known for their spirited personality, independence, and tendency to vocalize with a distinctive high-pitched sound called a "Shiba scream." The breed gained additional recognition as the face of the Doge meme and the namesake of the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency.
