Seether
One quietly raging
Seether is a South African rock band formed in 1999, known for post-grunge and alternative metal sound.
The band achieved mainstream success in the early 2000s with songs like "Fine Again" and "Broken," the latter a duet with Amy Lee of Evanescence.
The name references the Veruca Salt song "Seether," itself about suppressed rage bubbling beneath a calm exterior.
I've been listening to Seether since high school.
