Roman era
Colosseum age period
The Roman era is the period of ancient Roman civilization, spanning roughly from the founding of Rome (traditionally 753 BCE) through the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476 CE.
The term appears in historical and archaeological contexts to date artifacts, ruins, or events: Roman-era coins, a Roman-era aqueduct.
The Eastern Roman Empire continued nearly a thousand years longer, but "Roman era" typically refers to the classical period of unified Roman power.
