Renaissance faire
Jousting entertainment event
A Renaissance faire (also spelled fair) is an outdoor festival recreating the atmosphere of early modern Europe, typically Elizabethan England.
Attendees and performers dress in period costume, speak in mock-archaic English, and enjoy jousting, craft demonstrations, turkey legs, and mead.
The events blend historical reenactment with fantasy elements—fairies and pirates mingle with peasants and royalty.
We go to the Renaissance faire every fall.
