ProtonMail
Private email service
ProtonMail is an encrypted email service based in Switzerland, designed for privacy and security.
Messages between ProtonMail users are end-to-end encrypted, meaning the company itself cannot read them.
The service appeals to journalists, activists, and anyone concerned about surveillance: I switched to ProtonMail after the data breach.
Often shortened to Proton.
