Elongated Philippine province
Palawan is a long, narrow island province in the western Philippines, stretching between the South China Sea and the Sulu Sea.
Known for dramatic limestone cliffs, underground rivers, and coral reefs, it's often called the Philippines' "last frontier" for its relatively undeveloped wilderness: We spent a week island-hopping around Palawan.
