PVA glue

White craft adhesive

PVA glue is a common white adhesive made from polyvinyl acetate, used for bonding paper, wood, and other porous materials.

It dries clear and flexible, cleans up with water while wet, and is nontoxic enough for children's crafts.

Also called white glue, school glue, or wood glue depending on formulation: I used PVA glue to seal the canvas before painting.
