Noxzema is a brand of skin cream, originally marketed for sunburn and skin irritation.
The white, mentholated cleanser became a medicine-cabinet staple in American households during the mid-twentieth century: She washed her face with Noxzema every night.
The name suggests it "knocks" eczema.
