Moon buggies
Apollo surface transports
Moon buggies are wheeled vehicles designed for traveling across the lunar surface.
The term most famously applies to the Lunar Roving Vehicles used during NASA's Apollo missions in the early 1970s, which allowed astronauts to explore terrain far from their landing sites.
The phrase extends to any moon-capable rover, real or fictional: The kids pretended their go-kart was a moon buggy.
