Merlots is the plural of merlot, a red wine grape variety and the wine made from it.
Merlot produces soft, fruit-forward wines with plum and cherry notes, often more approachable than cabernet sauvignon.
The grape thrives in Bordeaux and California: We sampled three different merlots at the tasting.
