Leslie Nielsen
Leslie Nielsen was a Canadian-born American actor who transitioned from dramatic leading man to deadpan comedy icon.
After decades in serious roles, he found his signature style in spoof films like *Airplane!* and the *Naked Gun* series, delivering absurd lines with unwavering sincerity.
His straight-faced delivery amid chaos became a template for parody acting.
He pulled a Leslie Nielsen—said the dumbest thing with a completely straight face.
