Jim Corbett
Jim Corbett (1875–1955) was a British-Indian hunter and naturalist famous for tracking and killing man-eating tigers and leopards in colonial India.
His books, particularly *Man-Eaters of Kumaon*, blend hunting narrative with natural history.
Later an advocate for wildlife conservation, he helped establish India's first national park, now named Corbett National Park in his honor.
